		<description>I had to make it through that empty nest off to college thing four years ago, and it is indeed no fun.  Our beloved child is facing this major challenge, and we are facing emotional turmoil that we essentially can&#039;t reveal to them because they expect us to have that parental solidity.
  
Keep the faith.  She should do really well, given that she (1) has her mother&#039;s smarts (2) knows her mother loves her and supports her (3) knows what is up...

It&#039;s so very scary, but there can be a truly happy ending.  Through all those years of high school when your child thought your were a fool, your reward comes when they live for a few years away from home and become a bit more mature.  It makes an enormous difference.</description>
